Day 1: Arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Welcome to Africa! Check in to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Johannesburg–Okavango Delta, Botswana.
Today, fly to the OKAVANGO DELTA, the largest inland delta in the world and one of the last truly untouched areas for wildlife viewing in all of Africa. Enjoy a GAME ACTIVITY this afternoon. (B,D)

Day 3: Okavango.
Enjoy MORNING AND AFTERNOON GAME ACTIVITIES both days. Keep your eyes out for lion, elephant, zebra, hippo, rhino, and many others! The area is also home to the rare African wild dog and over 400 species of birds. (B,L,D daily)

Day 4: Okavango.
Enjoy MORNING AND AFTERNOON GAME ACTIVITIES both days. Keep your eyes out for lion, elephant, zebra, hippo, rhino, and many others! The area is also home to the rare African wild dog and over 400 species of birds. (B,L,D daily)

Day 5: Okavango–Moremi Wildlife Reserve.
Today, fly to MOREMI WILDLIFE RESERVE on the eastern side of the Okavango. This area features various ecosystems, including wetlands, mopane forest, flood plains, and dry savannah woodland, making it ideal for game viewing. Enjoy an AFTERNOON GAME ACTIVITY. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Moremi.
Today features MORNING AND AFTERNOON GAME ACTIVITIES. Spot cheetah, hyena, impala, Cape buffalo, and more. If you are lucky, you might even see the reclusive leopard. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Moremi–Chobe National Park.
Today, fly to CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, which features some of the greatest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Enjoy an AFTERNOON GAME ACTIVITY before settling in for the evening. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Chobe.
Enjoy MORNING AND AFTERNOON GAME ACTIVITIES in this stunning land. You may see giraffe, lion, lechwe, and more. There are also huge herds of elephant to be seen. It is said that these are the largest elephant in the world. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Chobe–Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia.
Drive to Livingstone, Zambia, then fly to LOWER ZAMBEZI NATIONAL PARK (via Lusaka), a new park that is still mostly untouched and undeveloped, making for a great safari experience. Enjoy a GAME DRIVE this afternoon. (B,D)

Day 10: Lower Zambezi.
Today, enjoy MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES. You have the chance to spot elephant, lion, leopard, zebra, waterbuck, baboons, hyena, and more. (B,L,D)

Day 11: Lower Zambezi–South Luangwa National Park.
This morning, rise early for one last GAME DRIVE in Lower Zambezi. After breakfast, fly to SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK (via Lusaka), the most popular park in the secluded Luangwa Valley. Enjoy a GAME DRIVE this afternoon. (B,L,D)

Day 12: South Luangwa.
Today, enjoy MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES. Life here revolves around the water, so you have the chance to spot hippos and crocodiles in large numbers along with Thornicroft’s giraffe and 14 different species of antelope. (B,L,D)

Day 13: South Luangwa–Johannesburg–Homebound Flight.
Your vacation ends with a flight back to Johannesburg (via Lusaka) to connect to your homebound flight. Do not schedule homebound flights prior to 5:30 pm. (B)

South Luangwa National Park: Nkwali Camp
Location: On private land overlooking South Luangwa National Park and surrounded by ebony woodlands and open grasslands.
Nkwali Safari Camp, on the banks of the Luangwa River in the South Luangwa National Park, is intimate camp with 6 tents. Styled as a camp rather than a conventional safari lodge, Nkwali is built entirely of natural materials and is designed to be "open" to the surrounding bush. The main structure of the camp is without walls, to avoid blocking the views. The bar area, right on the edge of the Luangwa banks, is built around a huge ebony tree with fantastic views of the river and across to the park. The open deck is wonderful for moonlit dinners. The dining room is a simple thatched structure, by the lagoon but we rarely eat meals there - they are served under the trees by the lagoon or the river, on the deck, or in the bush!

South Luangwa National Park: Tena Tena Camp
Location: This small remote camp is nestled within the national park on a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River.
Tena Tena Camp is altogether beyond superlatives, and must be one of the best safari camps in the whole of Africa" The Times, London. This remote and small camp lies within the National Park and enjoys a stunning location on a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River. The main area is a large canvas marquee placed between two mahogany trees. The view from sitting area, down the Luangwa River, is 60 km to the hills. Dinner is served on the platform, under the stars, again with a view of both the river and the waterhole.
