Day 1: Rome, Italy
. Benvenuto! Time to relax or to begin exploring the “Eternal City.” Your Local Host provides you with a Destination Guide, full of useful city information, and is on hand to help you create lasting memories.

Day 2: Rome
. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation, including headset, takes you to Rome’s religious and cultural highlights. Visit the VATICAN MUSEUMS and SISTINE CHAPEL, famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling paintings and The Last Judgment; ST. PETER’S SQUARE and BASILICA, which has the largest interior of any Christian church in the world; the COLOSSEUM; and the ROMAN FORUM, where the oldest structures of the ancient city are located. (B)

Day 3: Rome
. Full day at leisure to enjoy this spectacular city. (B)

Day 4: Rome-Sorrento.
Morning travel by high-speed EUROSTAR TRAIN (first-class) to Sorrento. Afternoon guided sightseeing and orientation: walk along the OLD TOWN’S characteristic lava stone streets and take pictures of amazing Mount Vesuvius. See the 14th-century Sedil Dominova building, the ancient Bell Tower, St. Francis Church, and St. Antonino Church, dedicated to Sorrento’s patron saint. (B)

Day 5: Sorrento
. Two full days to enjoy the city of lemon groves and the surrounding area. You will be enchanted by the climate, beautiful beaches, magnificent mountain views, trendy boutiques, interesting museums and galleries, and tempting restaurants. (B)
