   Itinerary
Day 1 - 2 Arrival in Manaus, Brazil.
Board your flight to Manaus in South america arriving in time to rest, before a guided sightseeing of Manaus. Your first stop will be the famous OPERA HOUSE, built in 1896 with materials imported from Europe. Next, visit the MUSEUM OF NATURAL SCIENCES before a stroll through a bustling LOCAL MARKET.

Day 3 Manaus.
Your “Meeting of the Waters” CRUISE begins by passing the British built Custom House and the floating port. Next, cruise along the chocolate colored rio Negro to its confluence with the yellow-gray Rio Solimoes. For four miles the differently colored bodies of water flow side by side and never mix explore a JUNGLE ISLAND (if the water level is not too low) before arriving at the Ecopark Jungle lodge situated on the banks of the Rio Negro inside the Amazonian Rainforest. Day 4 Amazon Jungle.
Accompanied by a naturalist, enjoy a guided jungle walk before departing in a motorized canoe to visit to a CABOCLO'S NATIVE AMAZON VILLAGE to learn about their traditions, costumes, and culture. This evening, perhaps venture out on canoe with your naturalist into the flooded forest to appreciate the jungle’s night sounds.

Day 5 Amazon Jungle–Rio de Janeiro.
Visit the MONKEY JUNGLE RESERVE where researchers work to rehabilitate captive primates and re-introduce them to the jungle. Depart the Ecopark for a midday flight to Rio. (B)

Day 6 - 7 Rio de Janeiro.
Welcome to South America’s capital of glamour. An included city tour on day three visits SUGAR LOAF, a granite monolith accessible by a cable car. (B)

Day 8 Rio de Janeiro.
Today is free to explore the highlights of this city, including the Botanical Gardens, an area of almost 350 acres; many museums, including the Indian Museum; and the beaches. (B)

Day 9 Rio–Iguassu Falls.
Fly to IGUASSU FALLS, at the crossroads of three countries—Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay—this masterpiece of nature encompasses 275 separate falls, spanning almost two miles. Visit the falls from the Brazilian side.

Day 10 Iguassu Falls
 Today enjoy a walking tour of the Argentine side of the falls, with its of numerous walkways that wind under the crashing water.

Day 11 Iguassu Falls–Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Fly to Buenos Aires, the “Paris of South America.”

Day 12 Buenos Aires.
Enjoy an included tour with the Plaza de Mayo; the CASA ROSADA (the President’s Pink House), made famous by Eva Peron’s speeches; the historic district of San Telmo, popular gathering spot for artists; and the CEMETERY OF THE RECOLETA, Peron’s burial site. (B)

Day 13 Buenos Aires.
Today at leisure. Perhaps a day excursion to the Pampas and visit a local estancia (ranch). Leave time for shopping! (B)

Day 14 - 15 Buenos Aires.
Enjoy this cosmospolitan city: fine dining, eclectic architecture, posh shopping districts, and much more. (B daily)

Day 16 - 17 Buenos Aires–U.S.
Morning is at leisure before your late afternoon flight to the U.S. that arrives early next day. (B)
