Day 1 Boston.
Welcome to “Bean Town!” This evening, mix and mingle with your traveling companions at the 6 p.m. Welcome reception. Your Tour Director will prepare you for your upcoming adventure. (WR)

Day 2 Boston–Stockbridge–Berkshire Mountains.
Your morning tour of Boston highlights the historic sites near Boston Common, Old State House, Old North Church, and the Freedom Trail. Depart Boston for DEERFIELD, a National Historic District. The town was an outpost of English colonial civilization. Enjoy lunch at the historic Deerfield Inn, a classic country inn built in 1884. Travel through valleys of unspoiled New England villages to Stockbridge. Here visit the NORMAN ROCKWELL STUDIO AND MUSEUM, housing a large collection of works by one of America’s favorite artists. Your overnight hotel is nestled in the heart of the Berkshire Mountains in North Adams. (B,L)

Day 3 Berkshire Mountains–Stowe.
Head north to Stowe. Visit nearby SHELBURNE HERITAGE PARK, a fascinating, 45-acre outdoor museum depicting early New England life. Afterward, a wonderful treat in store—visit famous BEN & JERRY'S ICE CREAM FACTORY, nestled in the heart of the Green Mountains, for a guided tour. Overnight in Stowe, a favorite mountain resort. (B,D)

Day 4 Stowe–North Conway.
This morning, visit a MAPLE SYRUP FARM. After a break in Montpelier, Vermont’s capital, head for New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Enjoy some time at leisure this afternoon, perhaps for shopping at New England’s premier outlets. (B)

Day 5 North Conway–Portland–Kennebunkport.
At Pinkham Notch, board the Wildcat Mountain GONDOLA for a thrilling ride to the 4,397-foot summit. Also enjoy a presentation on the RAVEN INTERPRETIVE PROGRAM and local wildlife. Then travel through the densely wooded, lake-strewn landscape of Maine to Portland, one of New England’s most famous cities. Stroll down the cobblestone streets of Portland’s Old Port Exchange, lined with its many boutiques, coffee houses, and art galleries. Early afternoon arrival in Kennebunkport, with time to explore the quaint shops and galleries of Dock Square. Tonight, your Tour Director hosts a special GLOBUS FAREWELL CELEBRATION DINNER. Wonderful conversation and cuisine make the perfect finale for your vacation. (B,D)

Day 6 Kennebunkport–Boston.
A scenic drive along the rocky coastline of Maine to Massachusetts with a call at Salem, infamous for the largest witch hunt in American history. You’ll have time to visit the many historic landmarks. Return to Boston. Check into your Boston hotel. Evening is free. (B)
